Scrolling through the TechCrunch50 finalists, i came across a new web 2.0 service called Popego. Funny name no? As its tag line says ‘A more meaningful web’ Popego brings all your feeds together and creates an autoblog out of it. Autoblog != Friendfeed

You add your social network details into it. It processes them and creates a small tag cloud. When somebody clicks a tag, information regarding your activity about that topic is displayed. Like, the visitor to your autoblog clicked technology, your social network activity on the topic of technology is displayed.
This basically narrows down the amount of information which the user sees, unlike friendfeed’s overloaded and uncontrolled flow of information. The list of services that you can add is quite long and there is a widget maker too, for your blog etc.. You do get a page illustrating your recent activities. The viewer can filter through them easily.
The widget is what really make Popego stand out. When clicked, the widget displays a small picture of yours, tag cloud, twitter status, links to your profiles, your friends, flickr photos, videos and a contact form too!
Lets see how it looks in real time.
The badges can be used in social profiles and blogs.
Although the service is not yet perfect and still brings up some fail whales, it has got the potential to grow.
Now you know, why autoblog is not friendfeed :P
