Download Vista Transformation Pack 9 [Just Released!]

The JCXP Community, has just come up with a new version of the famous Vista Transformation Pack, making it to version 9 this time. Along with several new functionalities, improved 3rd party applications and many new applications added to the pack, it has also become more stable than before. Though it is quite a good choice for transforming Windows XP’s look into Vista’s, I think they should now move on from Vista, take some inspiration from the oncoming Windows 7 and make a transformation pack from it :|

Anyways, lets see what included in this batch of Vista Transformation Pack

New 3rd part applications include:

New 3rd-party applications
ViSplore - Vista Glass explorer simulator
Vista Drive Icon - adding free space percentage in your drive icon like Vista explorer
Vista Rainbar - Lightweight Vista sidebar based on Rainmeter that even consume less resources than real Vista Sidebar

Improvements made in the 3rd party applications are as follows:

ViStart - Files indexing for documents search, improved reliability and compatibilities
ViOrb - Improved graphic and reliability (C++ re-written)
TrueTransparency - Improved reliability with improved AeroStyle’s glass border
WinFlip - Improved stability and reliablity

Several new functionalities have also been added to the pack:

Setup personization - Allow customizing Vista experiences upon installation without access to Welcome Center
Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibilities - Now you can enjoy Vista themes after installation with Windows XP Service Pack 3
x64 compatibilities - More secured x64 installation without getting hurt by incompatibilities

Along with all these, better compatibility from Windows XP SP3 has also been added. You can read the whole changealog here

Why not link to the actual site that has this stuff instead of a rapidshare link?

The link you have mentioned is of VTP8 and not VTP9.
And as of mirror links, i’d not put the original link because ( i have found them just now ). If you see the “via” site that i have mentioned, it includes those mirror links. The site is very reputable.
If you want original links, i will get them for you :)
